Challenge!

Ok, I'm not the best at these... and after watching this video (I'm slowly making my way through his book!), I realize I have a LOT of work to do. But, here is a challenge for us all. And if you've not read Crazy Love, READ IT. I'm only on the third chapter and it's GOOD.

WOW. Does he know me?? I have been living like that lately(maybe not the part about not going in the sun, but I digress). I don't know what has happened to me in the last few years, but I have turned into a FRAIDY CAT! I am totally that person that goes to church on Sunday and I teach the 2's & 3's once a month. I am CLINGING to my balance beam. I totally have to read that book. Thanks for posting this!

My thoughts exactly... When I saw it I believe my first thought was, "he could have just called instead of pointing me out to everyone on this green earth!" I'm sooo with you. Guess it took hearing it and seeing it to really realize what I have been doing.

I was just reading in my Bible study about change... "...the life of a Christian is never about sameness. It's always about change. That's why we must learn to suruve and once again thrive... Life will never be the same, but I have the invitation from Christ to rise to a new life - a more compassionate life, a wiser life, a more productive life. And yes, even a better life. Sound impossible? It is, without God."

I almost take all of this personally. I think I should. Oh a time to change... Sigh...

This is so new to me (well not the concept, no fooling anyone there!) but I have never heard of the book, or this guy, or seen the video. LOVED the video, and I am with you, it is so me. I have noticed how I have gotten into a routine lately and I am trying to get away from that but that video really hit home for me. I would so be the one trying for the perfect dismount instead of living it day to day. I added the book to my to do list as soon as I finish what I am on now. It's about Boundaries, LOL, self help book writers LOVE ME!!!!

I watched this last night and wow does that describe SO many of us..including me.

I'm glad you are getting back into reading it again. Like you said before, maybe it is a good time to be reading it. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy.

I mean I don't sky jump but I don't stay in the house either. He makes a great point. We could do more community works

"Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine, and injustice in the world when He could do something about it, but I'm afraid God would ask me the same question."
