A Thousand Words Thursday

When Caveman D was in Iraq. I love this picture.
It is quite possibly my favorite of him.

A Thousand Words Thursday

This photo was taken last year by David Rwamwaro, East Africa Director of Hope Aid International, as part of a report on past projects.
For more information about Hope Aid, click the link above. We'd love to match you with someone in need. All of our small projects are income-generating. The majority of our beneficiaries receive poultry, pigs, goats, and rabbits. Other projects have included brick making, sewing machines, garden supplies, and a cow. School fees are also a priority and are as little as $20/year. 100% of all donations are sent directly to Uganda.
Absolutely no administrative fees are withheld.

A Thousand Words Thursday

I almost forgot! Ok, I did forget... until I read Ann's post. Thanks Ann! :)

My picture for today is my sister and Titan.

I'd been telling her I had the best Christmas gift for her and couldn't wait for her to open it... This was her face after she saw it. Roxy had one too but Titan's is the best. I love this picture!

A Thousand Words Thursday

Blog carnivals are so much fun! Jen asks us to post a picture that is worth a thousand words. I couldn't pick just one. I know, I know...this is weekly. But I have lots! So... I decided to go with (surprise!) a dog theme! :)

This is my sister and Titan on her wedding day last October. I love that he is giving her kisses. It's such a sweet picture of them and while the groom was around somewhere, Titan will always her #1 man! ;)

This picture of me and Nola was taken in December of 2007. Nola was 9 months old and ready to go play with Titan and Roxy.

I know I post lots of dog pictures and dog stuff but dogs, especially Titan and Nola, hold a special place for both my sister and I -- maybe I'll post about that some day. It goes deep people -- deep!
Off to check out some other ATWT pics -- enjoy and Happy Friday eve!
