Bon appetit...Let's eat!

I was talking to my friend yesterday (was it yesterday?) about something... and it lead to food. I like food. That should not be a secret. I'm happy for everyone to know that I like food. Anyway, we discuss that she, who will remain nameless, enjoys raw potatoes. Ew. But okay, I'll try it. I then tell her that I like peanut butter and mayonnaise (ok, Miracle Whip, regular fat content kind) sandwiches. She says, "ew" to that.

We laugh about it, somehow it leads to declawing cats and circumcision... and I am back in the office and have to go. Do you love that I leave you hanging on how we got to all of that? I don't really remember to tell you the truth. We initially talked about applique, so go figure.

So... what is your weird food? I'm very curious and I think that maybe this weekend I'll humor you all by tasting your weird food.

I don't eat red meat or seafood so while I still want you to share, I'm not going to taste that thankyouverymuch.

It seems only fitting that I say happy hump day to end this post.

I love potato chips and cottage cheese. Not sure if that's weird or not, but most people pair cottage cheese with fruit and I can't stand that...I have to pair it with something salty. And if I eat cottage cheese alone, I put salt and pepper on it.

Okay, as you know-I haven't been good at keeping up with my blog reading. SO I get this strange comment on my blog from Jill about eating raw potatoes. I'm like where in the world did that come from?? Then fear set in that I posted something odd on my blog that I didn't realize was there.....and then it hit me (remember, I'm slow! haha). Only one person could be the culprit!! lol I came over to see where you let my declawed cat out of the bag.

I just don't know if I could gag down a miracle whip and peanut butter sandwich.

What else could I dare you to eat......

I am with you Abbie...I LOVE raw potatoes, in fact I end up having to peel 2 or 3 more when I am making mashed potatoes because I eat so many...MMMMM! Good stuff! I have heard lots about Miracle Whip & Peanut Butter and strangely I love both but I don't know if I could pair them together.

My favorite odd food that turns TONS of heads is when we have KFC. I love to get their mashed potatoes without the gravy and coleslaw and mix them together. OH it is HEAVEN! It sounds so gross but it's perfect, it's like tangy crunchy mashed potatoes. So good. And the funny part of it all is that I don't like coleslaw and usually won't eat it. But seriously, it's good!

Either that or sticking with the peanut butter theme...peanut butter and lettuce sandwiches are good. If you like peanut butter on celery then you will like it. It's something about having a crunch in my peanut butter sandwich that is so yummy!

Really, we just ate dinner and here I am dreaming about what I could go in the kitchen and fix :) Holding fast to my will power!

My word verification is taliksl...have you ever tried that before?!?! LOL! I bet it's tasty

All I have to say is WOW. this made me laugh out loud =) I think you are BOTH nuts! lol! I am trying to think of something weird that I like...hmmm...mayonnaise on french fries...peanut butter on potato chips, there, that is kinda like your two weird foods combined =) Ah, well, I guess I am pretty boring. I never even had any weird pregnancy cravings, and I think hubby was a little disappointed!

What an interesting topic. I can't say that I like anything too weird (at least not in my own opinion) although we love sushi in our house and we have lots of friends who find that disgusting. I used to love peanut butter on apple slices, which I don't think is too weird... peanut butter and banana sandwiches were great too... don't think I could do it with the mayo, though.
When we were kids, we loved sardine sandwiches with ketchup and horseradish - I couldn't even think of eating that now, though :-).

my weird food things involve meat, I think. hmmm, what does that say about me?
