Daffodil Meadow

There's a great little daffodil meadow just outside of town... it is SO pretty this time of year, and it's THE place to go for children's Easter pictures. Of course, Nola had to get some pics! How obvious is it that I'm completely childless?! Anyway... we really ventured out there because I'd never been and all of my friends take their kids there for springtime pictures. It was the perfect day to go! 82 degrees!

This is what Nola thought of the daffodils... oh well!

After the daffodils and a quick run to Cubbie's for chicken cheesesteaks and fries we went on a great walk! We hadn't been home too long when I decided to jump in the shower... when I was done, this was what I found...
Sleepy crowd! No idea where Finley was... probably sleeping on the bed somewhere! Oh, did I mention that D was here already?! He surprised me and came home three days early! I'll be working half days so I won't exhaust my leave time and we'll get to spend the afternoons together. He should be here for almost two weeks!

I'm sending warm weather to all of your northerners! Suz, now I'll think of you next time I'm in Cubbie's! I had to go back though b/c they gave us two regular cheesesteaks and not a chicken one so D got two. Yum! They're the best. And orangeades, Mmm! I didn't get one though... water challenge... gotta stay strong!

Britt, seriously?! First time at the flower field and all you see is whiteness? Shame! :P

I remember that daffodil field...out in Winterville, right? Do you know the Keville's?

I miss Cubbies!!!!

What church do you go to there? We went to Christ Presbyterian in Winterville.

Ahhh, gorgeous field of flowers. Made me smile as I stare out the window on such a cold and dreary day. (I am in the South but the weather has taken a turn...)

I love the last photo of all your "loveys" sacked out on the sofa. Looks so comfy! Oh and I love that you have a "Finley". I really like that name and considered it before I decided on Fiona and Matilda! Great minds think alike, eh?

What a fun day! I'd love to see it when all the flowers have bloomed. I bet it's a beautiful place!

I love how David looks like he is trying to cover his face from being sat on!!!

Jill, George Keville? I go to St. Timothy's Episcopal, on Firetower.

Kimberly, I love your girls' names! I love Finley too :) And Finn. Cute ones!

Abbie - I'd actually forgotten to turn the flash off so that woke him up... and the picture was not the best so I took another and got the giant hand!

WOW! That's such a pretty place. I was hoping to see something bloom this week after a few days of weather in the 70s, but for some reason a cold front blew in and we recieved a few inches of snow last night. I can't wait until the wild daisies come up behind my house. There's nothing like WV wildflowers!

What a beautiful place! Where is this?
